A figure emerges from white, eyes closed, face tilted upward — surrendered to something invisible. From her head, cherry blossoms bloom and branch into bare, dark wood that reaches beyond the canvas. The boundary between woman and nature dissolves: she is not wearing flowers, she is the flowering. Petals gather at her throat, her shoulders, her chest — not as ornament but as transformation in progress.

The palette is monochromatic and deliberate: soft pinks against an almost luminous white ground, interrupted only by the dark veins of the branches. The absence of color becomes presence. The restraint becomes intensity.

White Spring speaks of becoming — of that suspended moment between dormancy and bloom, between silence and opening. It is a painting about thresholds.
